Bromsgrove Rugby Club, a recognised hub for fostering young talent and promoting the values of teamwork and sportsmanship, is proud to announce the remarkable growth and success of its Minis & Junior section.
Over the past year, the Minis & Junior section at Bromsgrove Rugby Club has experienced a surge in participation, attracting children from diverse backgrounds and varying levels of experience. The club’s commitment to providing a safe and inclusive environment for young players to develop their rugby skills has been instrumental in this achievement.
Under the guidance of dedicated coaches and volunteers, the Minis & Junior section has not only achieved outstanding results on the field but has also prioritised the holistic development of its young members. The club focuses on nurturing key values such as respect, discipline, and teamwork, which extend beyond the rugby pitch and into their everyday lives.
Bromsgrove Rugby Club offers a range of age-specific teams, starting from the Under 6s age group all the way up to the Under 16s. These teams participate in various local and regional competitions, providing valuable opportunities for youngsters to showcase their talent and progress in the sport. The club’s commitment to player development has seen several Minis & Junior players progress to representative and professional levels of rugby.
The success of the Minis & Junior section can be attributed to the support of the local community, the dedication of coaches and volunteers, and the commitment of parents and families. The club recognises that their achievements are a testament to the collective efforts of all involved.
“We are extremely proud of the growth and success of our Minis & Junior section,” said Stuart Hinton Mini & Juniors Chairman “Our aim has always been to provide a nurturing environment for young players to learn and enjoy rugby. We are thrilled to see so many children embrace the sport and develop not only their rugby skills but also their character and values. We are grateful for the support of our community and look forward to continuing to provide opportunities for young athletes to excel in the new season. Or our Sunday training sessions will start on Sunday the 3rd of September at 10.00 -12 .00 for minis 5yrs to 11yrs or 12:30- 14:30 for juniors 12yrs to 16yrs or you can just come on down to Finstall Park & watch a training session & if you fancy, join in.’
